EMANUEL HOMESTEAD GOLDEN'S stunning coat coloring
can range from light white/cream, to pale gold. Deeper
tones are also available. Their distinctive coat texture is just beautiful, with longer feathering on their chest,
legs & hind quarters. Grooming is a "snap!"
The body stature of both genders is usually
solid & compact. My GOLDEN'S - distinguishing square
head, eyes & jaw shape frame their endearing countenance
of facial expressions which top off their overall
extremely inviting & attractive appearance.

Due to the increasing interest & attractiveness of the Special 'Gentile' Temperament, White/Cream Coloring & Strong Stature of a type of Retriever, known as a “NORDIC” Golden Retriever, I am selectively developing my own line of Emanuel Homestead Goldens that feature these specific "NORDIC" characteristics & traits. I continue to raise my beautiful sweet 'traditional' "American Standard" Golden Retrievers, with color ranging from Light Gold - Honey Gold & Deep Amber!!!!

Hi Chris,
Today we joyfully celebrated Duncan's first birthday! Coming from the Teddy and Lacy liter we knew he would be a sweet pup but we are truly amazed by how loving he is to the whole family and anyone he meets. He still has quite a bit of youthful puppy energy and there are some cute habits he will probably never grow out of - for instance, when we sit on the floor he likes to sit in your lap (which is really quite an amusing sight as he is now up to 75 lbs!) and we can't have a family hug without him joining the group. He absolutely loved the snow this past winter and delights in taking walks through the woods. Attached is a picture from his first day at our home and another taken this spring. He has such an incredible smile it always warms to the heart. We are so happy to have him as part of our family.

I hope all is well. Well, we're back seriously looking at Goldens again, having so much enjoyment from Riley who came from you (Teddy/Allie) back about 4 years ago. (Please see attached recent photo!) it was taken on a hike & she loves the outdoors/hiking! We periodically check your site and saw that you have 2 November litters. We are interested in a 1/2 Nordic female and it appears that you have something available!
Please advise what your waiting list is like and where
we would stand as of today.

All my pups are family raised & born in my "Birthing Center" in our home. At 5-6 weeks of age I move them into my "Puppy Nursery" where they and their mothers continue to be in constant contact and care by our family, yet have more room to romp & play! My special attentiveness & methodology of raising my pups & caring for all of my Goldens results in the mellow and sweet temperament that my kennel's reputation has been built upon.
While I have tried to maintain traditional AKC Golden Retriever characteristics of quality and consistent conformation, I am most concerned with the health & temperament of all of my dogs and their pups. This is so important to me because the majority of my pups are placed with &/or exposed to children & also elderly folks. I wish for my dogs to be a joy and a blessing to a family - not a source of concern or fear.
I have been pleased to remain in contact with many happy owners of my Goldens over the years and my dog’s health is excellent & their temperament has remained consistently gentle & endearing. I have many clients return to add a second & or third Golden to their family!
My primary goal in carefully selecting specific Goldens for Breeding & then for investing all the time & techniques I do in raising my puppies is first & foremost to concentrate on all I can do to develop & enhance the unique "TEMPERAMENT" I desire in all my Goldens. I work to lay the foundation for a loving, sweet, well-mannered Golden, that will be a joy to all who come to know him/her. Beside being the most awesome COMPANION ever - many of my pups excel as Therapy Goldens in a variety of children's centers, hospitals, schools, nursing homes & senior centers. Obedience Training & Agility Competitions are also enjoyed by many of my Golens & their owners. I offer AKC pups that have the characteristics, capabilities & versatility that make them more than attractive, capable and suitable to excel in these & other enjoyable activities. My Goldens also have the keen skills, stamina & training reception to become a choice hunting companion.

"NORDIC" GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
One of the most remarkably mild tempered dogs is the "NORDIC" Golden Retriever. Although Golden Retrievers, in general, as a breed, are known for their sweet & loving nature, there is a noticeable calmness, gentleness & reserve consistently observed in these special "NORDIC" dogs, while maintaining their playful interaction & intelligent inquisitiveness. They are especially charming, kindly & loving. "NORDICS" extend themselves in such a way as to nurture & maintain very close & personal relationships with each individual in their family, constantly revealing their loyalty & devotion. Such exceptionable attitudes & spirit quickly establish & “connect” the "NORDIC" Golden with each family member in a very special way.
The "NORDIC" Golden Retriever's beautiful thick coat ranges in coloring from predominantly white, to cream, to pale gold, although deeper tones are seen, since the coloring is not as important as the temperament & overall characteristics. The texture of their top coat is a bit courser & shorter, but "NORDICS" usually still retain a longer feathering look on their chest, legs & hind quarters as "American Standard" Golden Retrievers. As a result of this coat type, once they loose their 'puppy coat', the "NORDICS" have far less “shedding” of the undercoating of their hair. This is often appreciated in the general care & maintenance department, allowing for your time to be spent in play & activities with your "NORDIC" Golden, rather than requiring extensive grooming & cleaning.
The "NORDIC" Golden’s stature is usually a bit more solid & compact, with their overall height being slightly shorter than the "American Standard" Golden. Their head, eyes & jaw shape, along with the countenance of their facial expressions top off their overall appearance making these beautiful "NORDICS" extremely inviting & attractive.
