"Jessie"

JESSIE (Aug. '83) was another of our older females that passed away a few years ago. She has always been a close companion to Chris. They mutually enjoyed each other's company for years! We miss her terribly. Jessie had a pair of eyes that were the most expressive we've ever seen. They were continually begging for every bit of possible attention available, as if you had intentionally ignored her for weeks! Jessie was square headed & a bit heavier boned, broad chested & shorter legged dog than was Pumpkin or her offspring. She was quite mellow indoors, yet quite frisky & playful & enjoyed a good run outdoors. Her coat was medium gold in color with very attractive feathering. Her coat was quite thick & gave her a bit more rugged look. Her pups maintain a squarer, more powerful, sound & well put together appearance - A dog with endurance that can handle a regular workout without batting an eye. Jessie had been retired for almost 4 years, & enjoyed a peaceful life of leisure here on our farm before she passed away.
